In a vast fantasy world ravaged by war, famine, disease and all other kinds of disasters, rumors begin to spread of a magical McGuffin with ultimate power. People speak at length of its power to save a world teetering on the precipice of destruction. The McGuffin is said to be entombed in a hidden dragon vault and though many have tried to find it, none have prevailed.
You, however, will change that. With your small party of companions, you set out to do what the princes, knights and great wizards before you could not. Traveling through forests, over mountains and across seas while dealing with an eclectic collection of monsters and people, your journey will be long and fraught with peril, but you must succeed. The fate of the world rests in your hands.
… but no one said you were going to save anything. You intend to end the world.
((A Hero’s Journey…? is a comedy/adventure game set in an extremely generic fantasy world with generic fantasy quests… but centered around protagonists who are determined to ruin everyone’s day.))
