The king is dying. He has tried to prevent that, of course, but all of the greatest sages and mystics he could find all had only one thing to say. One year. In exactly one year, the throne would be empty and the country will need a new king. You think you know exactly who should fill it and will stop at nothing to ensure that the final choice for king is yours. This will be a great effort, as the king’s family has kept an iron grip on the kingdom for the past several centuries, and will spend the next year searching for a viable heir to the throne. This will be challenging, and you will need to use every resource at your disposal, including the vast wealth your House controls, the powers wielded by your faction, and of course, anything the skeletons in your closet have to offer. In the next year, a ruler shall sit on the throne, and the past king will be in his tomb. Who will it be?
