War looms in Kounia and the Companions of Scale and Sky, who were once the protectors and champions of the north have been scattered and slaughtered. Now, the last remaining companions make their way back to the northern mountains of Voreios, investigating rumors of a disease which would have wiped out the dragons as surely as did the armies of the Silver Empire. Can they and their new allies find a cure and renew the tradition of dragon riding, or does Fate have something entirely different in store for them?
