The world has ended. After decades, if not centuries, of disasters (both natural and man made), humanity has found only one last solace: The Good Doctor, a genius scientist responsible for The City. He gave those left a haven where everyone could live in peace with their needs met, with the hardest and most dangerous work covered by robotics. Now things are safe and perfect, here in the last city on Earth…
At least, that’s what the propaganda says. In reality, many have lost hope as said needs are met with cold comforts that keep them placated. Many people feel crushed under the weight of The Good Doctor, called the Tyrant in whispers by those of the Underground.
The Underground, those who would scream at the machine, even if that screaming was directed at the void. Those who held people who might be willing to fight, at least if they could feel that spark of Hope.
Tonight is the night that Hope gets sparked within a select few. And it all starts with a simple concert, and an unknown danger that approaches it.
This game is a science fiction adventure game inspired by the Cyberpunk genre, along with general dystopic/apocalyptic fiction.
This game will be three scenes long, with a focus on characters getting caught up in a conspiracy and feeling driven to investigate why anyone would attack the venue they were at. Expect some unanswered questions even as you deal with the threat.
