The day you moved in to Jackal Corps’ most recent apartment conversion in The Styx–that part of town on “the wrong side” of the river where all the weird stuff in this city seems to happen–you noticed the bulletin board posted in the lobby. There was a sign up sheet for the firepit in the communal yard, a couple of flyers advertising events of potential interest at the local café, and a very long numbered list titled TENANT GUIDELINES.
As your eyes scrolled the list, most of which were simply garden-variety rules of etiquette for apartment dwelling, certain items jumped out as… different.
8. No fire oriented sacrifices on balconies. Tenants may sign up to use the fire pit in the
shared yard for religious purposes.
11. No chanting or summonings past 11pm.
13. Out of respect for undead and non-corporeal tenants, no exorcists, priests, or
speaking of latin are permitted on the premises.
24. Due to the seriousness of some types of allergies, avoid bring items such as
wolfsbane, products made of silver or iron, goods which have been blessed, garlic and
salt into common areas of the building.
So what if this place is weird? Or that the apartment manager had you sign a super sketchy rental agreement? The rent is reasonable, the clubs are hopping, and the pizza is the best you can get in the entire city.
There only seems to be one delivery guy, but whatever. The pizza always arrives hot and on time.

The most important thing to remember: HAVE FUN
If that means posting prolifically, do that.
If that means posting occasionally, do that.
If life gets in the way, drop us note so we know you aren’t dead (we worry), but don’t stress about being too active or not active enough.
