The wicked witch has been defeated, the fair maiden rescued and peace restored to the land, or has it?
The witch’s demise has left a power vacuum in the area and it’s only a matter of time before some other monster fills it and the whole sorry cycle starts again. Will a noble spirit step forward to claim the haunted castle and the responsibilities that go with it or will the area be subjugated once more?
In the meantime things have been escaping from the witch’s dungeon, half the witch’s forces have turned to banditry and some little rascal has gone out cow tipping.
Life, as they say, goes on.
