On the southern edge of a rocky upthrusting hill called Hardscrapple Downs lie the villages of Boggyville and Beardyville; one the home of Halflings, and the other the home of Gnomes.
Most folk are honest, but you probably aren’t.
Tunneled beneath the Down are many ancient caves and passages, dug by generations of Halflings and Gnomes in years long gone. Few know many of their ways, though it is certain that there are secret ways that lead between the two villages, and forgotten places in the dark depths. Shady characters do their business in the dark.
Hardscrapple Downs is a game of nasty little people. Think “Justified” meets “The Hobbit” meets “My Name Is Earl” and you will be have your mind right for this game.
Characters are drawn from little folk of folklore and myth, but other than that they are just like you!
