You are a princess. You live in a castle, with a king and/or queen, etc. You may wear frilly dresses sometimes, but that doesn’t mean that you’re some kind of useless airhead. Princesses need something to do with their time, and to be honest it’d be a bit shameful if you weren’t ridiculously accomplished. So yes, you play several instruments and sing and draw and volunteer for charity events and embroider and ride horses, but you also have hobbies, or maybe it’s more like a vocation. Like “Physics Professor”, “Soldier”, or “Veterinarian”.
The setting is pseudo-medieval, with lots of feudal city-states and no computers or cars, but electricity and civil rights. I’ll let each of you decide what level of modern elements exist in your individual kingdoms.
The source deck may be “Occult Pulp Horror”, but I don’t intend to make this Lovecraftian. Expect nothing more horrific than Grimm. The genre here is Fairytale.
I’m going to throw lots of fairy tale elements at you, and we’ll see how your responses stack up to the classics. Each scene we’ll add another princess to the mix. Or, if it’s an NPC, possibly a prince. That means in scene 1 you’ll have one person in your party, scene 2 will have two, scene 10 will have ten, etc. It all ends when each princess has met “her” prince and “her” villain, and dealt with them appropriately. I leave it up to you what appropriately actually consists of.
Please do not attempt to control any characters other than your own (unless you’ve won control of the story, of course), ESPECIALLY NPCs, because it drives me crazy.
