Twenty-Ninth of Harvesned Ride performed to satisfaction. Pains minor. Council called an audience. The Master of State, the Master of Defence Amil, General Baras, Vice Admiral Hiumon. Court goblin absent after unpleasantness with delegate. Master of State explained, supplied by fellow councillors, that the Sergans, in the name of continued cooperation asked the return of the right of execution to be levied against the rebels. Cannot speak as to initial reaction. Things were broken.
Councillor Mun’ach explained that the council intended resignation. Cannot speak to initial reaction. The memories were subsequently silent. Seeing no alternative, I gave the council leave to resign. Each gave their resignation, and their apology. I thanked them. No further events of note.
Addendum: Groves of Daora (!).
Each of you have changed since the Sergans and their wyverns took your city and your country. Each of you have decided not to stand by and bend your neck and your knee, but with affiliation comes danger, and you have already seen one part of your cell expunged and exiled.
Everything seems to be up to you now, and what is worse; the resignation of the council has left the Vessel all alone, and the Sergans yet free to pursue executions now there is no legal government to theoretically appease.
Still, the new insistence that all lamps are to be out by the time curfew begins and the news from abroad all indicate the Sergan luck at war is turning, and you might yet see the end of this if you’re quick, clever, careful, and eat your blue potatoes.
Stay united. Be brave. Survive.
Good luck, rebel.
