You ignored the flyer the first time you saw it, dismissing it as backwards idiotic mumbo-jumbo BS mysticism. But then you saw it again, and again, and again, and a niggling, infectious idea took root. Maybe you could start again.
You went to the advertised location, at the advertised time. A small group of strangers had gathered round. You felt more than saw that they, too, had felt the calling you had.
A man with a long, white beard arrived, and began guiding you through the process. It would be a trance state, a shared, completely lucid dream. It would begin with complete void, and then, together, you would build a world, or maybe even multiple worlds.
You accept, and the man begins the process. As you fall into sleep, thoughts flash across your mind, perhaps not entirely yours.
You are about to become a god. Will you be a just ruler? A foul tyrant? What will you build? All things endure, even beyond their end. Will what you build be worthwhile? What will you do with a blank slate?
