Late in the Second World War an allied company of soldiers, mostly Americans was deployed to the Balkans on an urgent mission to hunt down and eliminate the Thule. Intelligence suggested that Thule agents were working on the development of some high priority and classified super weapon to turn the tide back in the Reich’s favor. Upon travelling through the Balkans and through many assaults and skirmishes the allied forces would learn the truth of the situation by the time they entered Transylvania.
In reality the Thule weren’t developing a new super weapon, but searching for an old one once supposedly used by Vlad Dracula the legendary Hellgate. Working together with the local resistance, an odd assortment of strange people and creatures the Allied forces managed to locate and destroy the Hellgate along with the Thule. Following the battle intelligence reported the Red Army en route. Not wanting to let even the remains of such a relic or the strange peoples of the region to fall into Soviet hands the allied commander came to an agreement with the resistance leader to offer sanctuary for him and his people.
A few months would pass; the war in Europe would end and President Truman would authorize the creation of such a haven within the United States. Working with the US Military a Society of Wizards, Vampires, Werewolves and other Supernatural Creatures would establish a small town in Oregon hidden from the outside world. A refuge for the Supernatural the world over and it would be called Blood Moon Bay; America’s Greatest Secret.
Now its been over seventy years since the town was established and its numbers have swelled to nearly twenty thousand souls, but all is not well as dreams and visions of a select few depict the end times may be at hand…
