Another hunt ends, and another hunt begins. In the world of Alexandria, the Eternal Library, the stories and fantasies of the world are the frameworks of reality and the lifeblood of everything around you. However, corruption and mistakes can exist in stories as well, manifesting as evil beasts. The worst of these become Maltropeds, archaic aberrations that destroy everything in sight. To combat this, some of Alexandria’s denizens, most often the manifested characters of books and other fictions, are chosen to be “Proofreaders,” the hunters of the Maltropeds.
