Queen Matilda scowled at the assembled party across the banqueting hall. The table groaned with drumsticks, game pie and chocolate cake.
“The narrator wrote this scene when they were hungry,” she moaned dissaprovingly.
“ I..I..in their great celestial wisdom,” she corrected herself hastily, smiling at the heavens as winningly as her brown and broken teeth would allow.
The queen was a fervent believer in the great Narrator, who watched over their lives, and wove their fates together.
But something was amiss. The power of the Narrator was overshadowed by a darker force. No doubt the doing of the Barron. So the Queen must once again call upon the most valient of her subjects to ride out and put the future of the realm above their own safety…
