Pap Pap’s and Mee Maw’s ranch has always been a little oasis in which you and your cousins would spend your summers. There was always questions of who would inherit the sprawling 36,000 acre ranch - and it seems that question would find an answer much sooner than anyone would have liked.
Pap pap’s sudden death sent shockwaves through the family, as well as the understanding that MeeMaw couldn’t run the ranch all by herself. As everyone made the trip to South Dakota for the funeral and wake, there is a silent battle brewing for the cash cow that could be up for grabs for one of the many family branches.
It’s bound to be a battle of grief and greed, so pack your funeral blacks and cowboy hats.
