The CCS Durst, like most Corrective Custody Ships, carries a particular type of cargo. Unlike most, however, this ship’s destiny is not some floating prison strapped precariously to an asteroid. This ship is bound for a new world, Superstia.
Its inmates are due for release in the amount of time the ship would take to arrive at any of the usual prison facilities, however due to an unfortunate galactic stipulation the crew finds themselves at the mercy of a corrupt penal system not required to grant them return to a planet of their choice. In short, rather than return them to ‘civilization’ they are being given the summary ultimatum of “form your own, or perish.”
All of this, of course, was not what these citizens had in mind when they were sentenced. What neither the Galactic Judicial Council, Interstellar Corrections, nor the prisoner passengers had expected was the Durst‘s long overdue Engine overhaul catching up to it.
The vehicle found itself stranded in Galactic Neutrality, and with less than zero loyalty to its passengers the crew bottled themselves in escape vehicles and jettisoned away at light speed to the nearest civilized planet leaving the Durst and its new inhabitants to fend for themselves.
Hi! In this story Players will portray inmates in the CCS Durst trying to survive their abandonment. This will be a story about survival in a hostile environment, the quest for security and safety, and redemption of the past.
Characters can be as human or alien as they choose, and I am even open to the option of non-living(i.e. android) characters.
Feel free to create your own cards. I have provided a couple examples to assist. You’re free to use mine if you like.
Hope we can have some fun with this!
