You are a god living in the Divine Lands of the vast multiverse. Immortal and divine life isn’t so bad. Every now and then you are asked to be a god in an existing universe and granted an aspect to govern over. You do that for a while, then you move on or the world comes to an end.
But Val-Ryad, the God of Gods, has made a new world, but he announced that he is leaving it completely empty and appointing a Council of Creation to turn the world from a lifeless nothingness to a living, thriving universe that is full.
All of the gods wondered who would be chosen to be on the new Council of Creation and have the honor of creating a universe.
You are one of those gods.
What will you create? What will you learn about yourself in the process?
The new universe awaits. Creation calls for gods.
You have been hand picked by Val-Ryad, the God of Gods, to be on the Council of Creation. You and your companions will work together to create a new universe and ensure that it thrives. Each god will have an aspect (Nature card) that determines what they’re the god of and what they control in the new world.
This Storium will heavily rely on cooperation and collaboration among the players. So, only sign up if you enjoy writing with others.
There are other gods in the multiverse, and may be used as NPCs, players can make them up as they go. However, as a rule, only the Council of Creation (the players), and Val-Ryad are allowed in the Council Room and the new universe itself. So, NPCs will be more used for background purposes, advice, or character development.
When it comes to the creation of the world, the sky is the limit. Life can look however you want, either close to life as we know it, or completely unique and alien. Same with light, darkness, physical laws, and even magic. Whoever chooses the to play as the gods that govern those aspects gets to decide how the everything works and looks.
This is why collaboration will be heavily encouraged, because the gods will need to work together to ensure everything works right. For example, the God of Life creates a species of sentient mortals who require helium to breathe, but the Goddess of Law makes it impossible for helium to exist in this universe, it creates a problem. Cooperation and collaboration will be the key to this Storium.
