Date: July 2182. The government is under incredible strain, although many people don’t know that. The news stations have been threatened with unknown measures to not release anything that might “lower morale,” and officials are taking more and more bribes, claiming they’re still “straight and narrow, so why don’t you stick your nose in other people’s business”.
However, the facade of safety is fading quickly, and chaos might be just around the corner…
Date: November 2183. Ever since The Market Crash of 2182, American money has become almost worthless. The highest banknote the US government is now printing are one dollar bills, and even those now-precious resources are only being printed in the thousands per year. The richest people in the country become the poorest. Everything has closed down, there are riots in the streets, and other countries are threatening to take… action if the US doesn’t get their citizens in check. It’s survival of the fittest out there, and some people are willing to do whatever it takes to be the fittest…
Date: March 2192. The survivors of The Crash are starting to piece society back together, but resources are still in short supply and there’s still many things that could go wrong…
This story will be written a bit differently than normal.
