Story: Heaven and Hell, the tireless enemies. Since the beginning of time, this eternal struggle has existed. Everyone knows of it from the moment they open their eyes to the world. They can see it when the sun rises and forces back the night, or when a flower withers and death finally overcomes life. It is a silent, yet deafening war. Yet the war has only just truly begun…
Earth has always been a common place for both Angels and Demons. They tread it’s soil and partake in it’s wonders, but eventually they became discontent, they wanted more. They wanted to live like mankind lived, and love like mankind loved.
This caused mankind to become trapped in a war between two immortal factions, with Earth as the battleground. Though they were not unified, they stood tall. They fought back with everything they had, and mankind quickly discovered that while on Earth, immortals could be killed. However, eventually mankind was defeated. Exterminated like vermin. Crushed like pests under an immortal foot. Now all that remained was a memory in the form of ruined cities.
Though mankind was vanquished, the war never ended. Angels and Demons continued to fight a pointless war. Neither of them having an advantage over the other, and neither side knowing why they fought. They simply fought to give themselves purpose. It was all they knew. However, not all of the immortals desired to fight a hopeless battle. Some wished to find a way to live on their newly conquered land, and live in peace, and with that… the Grey Legion was formed. “Grey” being the unification of white and black. The Grey Legion stood as protectors of Earth, and strove to bring about a way of life where Angels and Demons could live together in peace, but is such a thing possible? Whether or not it can be done, the Grey Legion intends to try. For if they fail… Nothing of Heaven, Hell, or Earth will survive…
Setting: You are a member of the Grey Legion, be it Angel, Demon, Nephilim, Cambion, or Dolor. You all are working towards a common cause; to reclaim Earth, and put an end to the war.
Applying: I am looking for at least 5 players and I would like each application to include a section on why you decided to join the Grey Legion. Feel free to create any cards for Strengths, Weaknesses, or Subplots, but you must choose one of the pre-approved natures. Also, I will not be operating on a first come first serve basis, and will be doing my best to select the best applicants for this story. So bring your A-game!
Story Pacing: I will be posting in this story every night, and if I am unable to, I will make sure to give everyone fair warning. I plan to keep true to the 2-3 scenes a week schedule. So apply with that in mind.
