This is an alternate-history Naruto-universe story based on the manga/anime by Kishimoto.
Two elite ninja are sent on their first mission as “trackers”. They are tasked with recovering the bodies of missing ninja form their hidden village before secrets can be extracted from them. Sometimes they find them alive, sometimes they don’t, but either way they find the missing target their mission stays the same: Protect the secrets of Konoha… at all costs!
