Black Lives Matter
wishing everyone well during this pandemic and experience of world action
A basic Fantasy genre game, made up of what
the players bring to it in their characters and side characters, and what I will write tying that together with my own ideas mixed in. Happy for it to be anything from very serious to totally ridiculous, whatever is engaging for you as a player. Hopefully evolves as a fun game with a sort of ‘who knows what’s around the corner’ feel.
I’d really like to play this as a ‘Yes, and’ game; meaning that i’d like to mostly build on what is written and the ideas put in by everyone rather than negating things that you have put forward to fit some concept of mine. I will change the plan as much as possible to incorporate ideas added. Inspired by improv and a ‘the show must go on’ attitude.
I’m going to take the Storium resolution system as what it reads, if you play the last card on a challenge that results in a strong or weak outcome, then you can narrate (with other players’ permissions if using their characters) what happens within, or responding to, the challenge prompts, whatever else you want to add in, and/or how you want to do that is up to you. Also because the challenges are usually group efforts it would make sense to me if more players add in a few things in ending moves as they see it from their character’s point of view.
note: It’s set as ‘Host Liscence’ so I can offer a copyright to everyone for their own writing. My intention is to enable you to retain sole rights for what you write, to the fullest practical extent. To do that I will clearly relinquish any rights given to the host over other participants’ writing to back to the players. I have zero intention to have a copyright over other people’s work, and that is why I’m trying to write a different license than is offered.
