A renownedly cranky and wealthy old magician invites a party of strangers to spend a week on his estate… but when they arrive he’s not there. Or is he? And is there really a dragon in the cellar? And what about his flock of uplifted beast-folk servants… what are they hiding?
Short game using the Fantasy Classic deck, with a few tweaks for added flavor. Don’t feel constrained to straight-up medieval European fantasy tropes in your character creation… wander a bit geographically and chronologically if you like (or not, if you don’t)! I’m aiming for relatively gentle humor (though occasional black touches aren’t unwelcome), and a nice easy pace so that those of us who are nervous about new things can get the hang of Storium in a pressure-free environment.
