Rarely has history recorded as incompetent a ruler as Serrin IIX Meridannis. Basking in the riches and glory showered upon him by his father, High Lord Triumphant Detr III Meridannis , the promising young man degenerated into a self obsessed and incompetent brute. And after five long years of reign, he broke the line of the Granite Throne and died without a legitimate heir; compounded with his degenerate leadership, this has left the Enduring Kingdom fractured and weak.
But internal strife is not all the Realm must face. The surrounding wild folk see the cracks spreading, see the chance for plunder and victory, and their raids are becoming numerous and harsh.
Will you seek to save the Realm from within, or will you seek to save it from without?

Players in this game will take on highly influential roles, either directly through nobility, indirectly through being the trusted retainer of a powerful lord, or even through the twisted web of truth and betrayal spun by a spymaster.
