It was supposed to be a normal camping trip: a last hurrah for your group of friends, full of fun and relaxation, to celebrate graduating high school and moving on with your lives. You’d found the perfect place for it, too: a quiet, isolated campground in the woods near Brown Mountain, North Carolina, miles from civilization. You went out there to get away from it all and spend a few more days together, before you all headed off to college in the fall.
It was supposed to be perfect. But then little things started to go wrong. An old man at the local gas station who kept glaring at you and muttering dire warnings about your destination…
“You lot shouldn’t be goin’ up there… bad things happen on that mountain.”
A fellow camper who won’t shut up about conspiracy theories and UFO sightings…
“I’m telling you, there’s something weird going on around here!”
And strange lights appearing and disappearing in the night sky.
“Are those stars?”
“Stars don’t move like that.”
Before long, this seemingly-perfect trip will turn into a nightmare. And it’ll be up to you to solve the mystery, and to get out of the woods alive.
Just remember… fear the Lights.
