Last year a huge object appeared in orbit, a mystery to all, within 18 hours and 13 minutes from when the object appeared every Hero and Villain vanished from the face of the earth, and just as mysteriously as the object appeared it too vanished. The long protectors of earth and those who fought them where all gone. After a few weeks without their return the event was called Ragnarok as it was the end of an era, fear was widespread, governments prepared for an invasion that never came, after months all returned to normal, until a few former sidekicks and henchmen came forward.
Called Tell Alls wanting their time to shine they revealed that most superhumans where just people, lucky people mostly made by accident. By explaining this the Tell Alls revealed that the Superhumans had bases hidden throughout the world just waiting to be found. At first they where just seen as rumor, people lying for their own gain, until a few amateurs stumbled on a few bases, and instead of hoarding it all for themselves decided to sell it and benefit the world, thus the DIY Superpower movement was born, encouraging people to self-empower and experiment on themselves, even some have gone further into raiding bases for secrets, power, money, or overall excitement. The governments of the world did what they could to stifle the movement, but in doing so just drove them into the shadows.
You chose to become a Base Raider whether it was your want to get rich or make a difference. Now heroes and villains are rising, and New Arcadia has become a place of rising stars, new types of Heroes and Villains. Are you ones that will try to step in and fill the big shoes left behind by the Ideal, or are you just trying to get by.
Characters will be from the Rogues Gallery I’ve assembled. I put a lot of time into the premade characters, and I hope you will participate in open lobby before choosing a character. There are a total of twenty character options, 2 of each archetype, but I hope we get a nice diverse and balanced cast.
