On August 20, 1977 the satellite known as Voyager 2 was launched into space to be sent adrift amongst the cosmos to chart the course of an endless journey to capture the final frontier.
Decades laters, Voyager had a brief interaction with a mysterious object that lead to the identification and first contact with an a mysterious crystalline alien race known as the Shivians. With the satellite being light years away governments around the world were speculating if contact with an Alien race did occur.
Th speculation ended when the Shivians came to Earth. Without a warning they stuck major cities across the world. They had launched an invasion on a global scale. In Earth’s defense: heroes, villains, and para-military groups banded together to fight the threat. Individual cells have fought the Shivians in small skirmishers. That alone will not prove enough It will take some time before a true united global offense can be launched against the Shivians.
This story is about those caught in the cross fire. This is the story of the civilians on the ground. The story of powerless, the ordinary person. Those that are seeking lost family, those that are trying to dodge the raining debris, those that are managing to survive.
You are one of the many civilians caught up in a battle that is far spread through out the once sprawling metropolis once known as Phoenix City.
Can you band with others and make a means to survive? What are you willing to do? Who are you willing to work with if it means you see your goals through to the end?
