As all of history tells, a war happened. And it was the worst the earth had ever seen. No man, woman, or child was spared the horrors. This war was the one to end all wars and for a time it did.
Society became almost primitive again; relying on survival through monarchies and feudalism. Though much of the past times were remembered, there was no way to be frivolous. Production of cars, planes, objects of amusement ceased to a stand still. Now it was the production of food, clothing, shelter, and warmth that all men sought. Much of the wars caused severe radiation in places where valuable minerals were kept and often times, mankind went without, waiting for the day that they could retrieve and renew the old way of living.
Over 100 years after the wars, when the radiation finally settled, a new breed of humans began to emerge. Many time they had evolved senses and abilities, other times they are deformed and nearly useless. At first, these new humans were hunted and destroyed, but soon it became apparent that they were not leaving anytime soon. many countries made peace with these new humans and accords were built to protect those gifted. Though the numbers of old humans to new is slowly becoming even, some countries are still hunting and destroying these new humans. Truth is, they’re scared of change and the powers that might be given to these humans at any given time.
Among the gifted are 7 persons. Each differing in their own abilities and backgrounds, they have been gifted these abilities for one sole reason.
To keep humanity from tearing itself apart, these 6 were tasked with becoming the bridge between the two people, preventing further bloodshed.
They just need to get to the first place on the agenda and the only way that’ll happen is if they have the best guide and guard to defend and lead them. In fact, there might even be a prophecy about their journey like any good stereotyped story has.
Only downside? Asshats from around the country are looking for them and they aren’t making this journey easy at all.
