Rolling admissions. We seem to be doing pretty well on the damage all the things front. If nothing else, I guess the Desekthroi are gonna go down fast when we meet them. For new apps, may I suggest a healer/support type character?
Ryuu and his people are refugees. They wander the universe in living spaceships, enormous jellyfish they call medusae. They are fleeing from the Desekthroi, the magic eaters, their ancient enemy. Their quest is to find a new world to call home.
The medusae are magical creatures. Capable of growing to be as large as the Earth’s moon, they support all manner of living things. The relationship they have with the refugees is symbiotic and one cannot live without the other.
Ryuu is a dragon shifter and many of his clan make up this band of refugees. Only dragon shifters have the ability to communicate with the medusae and captain them and they, dragon shifter and medusae alike, are a dying breed.
I expect this to be heavy on character interaction - you’re going to be stuck on a ship after all, with some space exploration and skirmishes with the Desekthroi tossed in.
Things to consider: Do you use a weapon? If so, what? Since it’s a living ship, I’m going to go with no laser firearms, no bullets and nothing that can shred through cellular tissue like, well, tissue. Bows, axes, boomerangs, swords, etc are fine in the vein of small amounts of internal bleeding will heal. Do you play a function aboard ship? Trader, healer, etc? Also, why are you traveling with refugees? Are you an adrenaline junkie or do you have a death wish or…?
