A few miles away from the shore and a thousand fathoms deep in the oceans lie the vibrant world of the Mers, ocean-dwelling humanoids on whom many human myths and legends are based. Their complex cities and villages sprawl across all the oceans, from shallow reefs to the dark abyss, full of all the majestic wonders their revered ocean deity, Bahzen, has to offer. But all the beauty in the sea cannot hide the dangers lurking in the shadows- from malevolent sea serpents to wicked Redtail Mers, the tranquillity is always threatened.
You will take on the life of one of the four Mer species- the cold and distant Icefins, the colourful and diverse Reefgills, the bright and eerie Glowscales, or the evil and rebellious Redtails. A disturbance found out in the ocean has stirred up the Mers, and some say it is the slumbering deity, Bahzen’s, song as they begin to awaken. At the same time, recent activity from Reedlor, the queendom of the Redtails, might have something to do with it.
