Its times square, NYC 2014. ten minutes until the ball drops, the crowd murmurs excitedly and you can almost feel the excitement in the air. What new wonders lie in wait for us in 2015? People are laughing, chatting, and shoving. The crowds warm the air, like a giant furnace. The countdown begins and screams are drowned out by the counting of the crowd.
FIVE…
A man scrambles onto the stage and stumbles toward one of the security guards
FOUR…
The mean screams, charging at the guard
THREE…
The guard takes out his baton, giving the seemingly crazed man a good whack.
TWO…
The man goes on, unperturbed.
ONE…
The man takes a chunk of the security guards arm off, the guard screams.
ZERO! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
The guard is motionless, eyes rolled into the back of his head. The man stops devouring his unconscious prey and dives into the crowd. Screams fill the air as panic breaks out in times square, a reporter covering the incident loses half of her face on camera, then the cameraman is quickly devoured.
The pandemonium spreads, the whole of NYC. Military is brought in, they too are devoured. evacuation is ordered too late, it’s beyond NYC. its already beyond the border, Its beyond everything.

The game is set in New york city, one week after the infection starts. The army has tried everything, even burning half the city. Nothing, nowhere is safe. only safer (I got that from the zombie survival guide, its true in any apocalypse honestly)
You are basically nomads, you hopefully know how to fight by now (The zombies, by the way, are only killed quickly by shots to the head or the heart. I’m using a more realistic version of zombies, this could happen scientifically… Probably. So they CAN bleed out but it takes a fuckton of time. They also have no pain sensors so they can’t be hurt that way either.)
You guys will be meeting up bit by bit, this game is very character relationship based so if you want to have characters already in relationships (married, boyfriend girlfriend, siblings, ect) that’s fine. People with no preset relationships are also encouraged. The goal in the end is to find somewhere safe and zombie free. And by that I mean don’t’ die, if you do die feel free to be a zombie until your killed and can make a new character. Or you can have someone shoot you before it happens.
Its up to you to find out how long until someone turns, I’ll be dropping plenty of hints so feel free to play investigator!
Swearing and all that is cool but I’d rather we stayed away from smut, romances are still cool though.
Also before you join please MAKE SURE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO KEEP UP AND POST MORE THAN ONCE IN A BLOOD FREAKING MOON. If you disappear for too long or can’t keep playing you will be eaten by the zombies.
Also feel free to make your own cards! I think I covered a lot but if I missed something then knock yourself out! (There is no immunes)

Please work hard on your characters, put as much thought as you can into them. And if something feels off then change it! (Also, this is a REALISTIC zombie game, try to make the characters “real” as you can)
