The God of Greed (Pater Maglen, The Golden One, The Great Chainer of Souls) and the Goddess of the Sun (The Lady Massard, The Divine Fury, The Shining Moon) fought to overthrow the Mother of Tears from her dark throne. Only when Pater took up the throne did her shadow finally leave the world. Now Pater is gathering the dark forces left behind and seeking his rightful part of the land captured by the Lady during their war with the darkness.
Will you help bear the torch of righteous or will you be the water that quenches the Moon? Are you one of the followers of the Golden One, seeking to awake your God from the miasma he has fallen into? Are you one of the followers of the Divine Fury who seeks to keep the land she claimed.
Or are you one of the Outsiders, there to interfere and meddle in the affairs in both gods’ affairs for reasons of your own? Do you follow the path of a less-worshiped deity, one who seeks to strike down those that maintain such a stranglehold on the world? Or are you here to prove that there is more to this world than the gods above and below, out to carve your name into the pillars of destiny and show that humanity is more grand and more terrifying than anything they could seek to worship?
