It has been ten years since the death of Prince Albert, and Queen Victoria hasn’t been the same since. She hasn’t been seen since his funeral, and rumours abound.
The socially enabled are content to keep the status quo as it is, disliking change, and the politically inclined are desperate to keep their hold on power. The working classes, and everyone else are simply trying to eke out a living - though some yearn for a better life.
Steampunk, Victorian-esque alternate London. Inventions, and alchemy. It is not common to mix the two, but there have been rumours of inventors that have tried, including Prince Albert -his death is said to have been caused by an accident in the labs.
