The Space Age is in full swing and humanity has set its sights further out into the Solar System.
The Space Shuttle Tenacity has been sent on a research mission to Ganymede, one of the larger moons of Jupiter, to explore the celestial body’s long kept secrets. It is believed a vast saltwater ocean lies beneath the moon’s icy surface, and the top brass at NASA want to see the ocean explored. Instead of robotic exploration, however, they want to send humans to investigate- a robot requires specific programming and would be limited in what it could do, they reason, whereas humans offer much more flexibility in mission parameters.
You and your fellow players are the few chosen to participate in this momentous mission. Equipped with state-of-the-art spacesuits that allow you to see underwater as if it were daylight, withstand cold and pressure, and breathe enough oxygen to last a week, it seems all your basic needs are met; that is, other than the unknown of what may lie beneath the water. But you wanted an adventure, so surely you’re up for whatever awaits you…right?
But in addition to the challenges of exploring Ganymede, there is an additional challenge to you, the player: nowhere in the story can the letter O appear. Whatever you write, you must find words without that particular vowel to describe the actions your characters take.
