The Snyder Family Cider Mill is a small establishment. Situated on four acres with an apple orchard beside it, the building has been used to make apple cider for close to ninety years. Though by no means a major business, locals seem to enjoy buying wassail and fritters from the location during the autumn season, allowing the Snyders to continue a long family tradition of cider production.
Another season of apple cider making is about to start when an unexpected family emergency calls the Snyders out of town. No one is sure when they will be back, but as the days drag on it seems almost certain there will be no cider this year.
That said…everyone has failed to notice you in the corner.
You and your fellow players are normal spiders who happen to live in or nearby the now abandoned cider mill. Though catching flies and climbing walls are fine activities, you’ve been wanting more out of life. In fact, now that you think of it, you have always wanted to make cider. Turns out other spiders present share your interest. You have all observed the Snyder family at work in the past- surely you know what to do from those hours of watching. The mill is yours to use indefinitely- why not chase that shared cider-making dream while you can?
Of course, you are just a regular bunch of spiders and everything before you (the tools, the bottles, the apples, etc.) is intended for human-sized users; making cider is not going to be easy. But you’re not going to let the little details get in the way of the big goal, are you?
