Star Wars: Gremmin’s Gambit
The Galaxy is at war! The Empire’s first super weapon, The Death Star, has been sabotaged and destroyed by the Rebel Alliance. However, life for most fringers has changed very little.
The crew of the Salty Mynok have just touched down outside the ruined temple they were looking for on Hoth. Their mission: to retrieve an artifact called the Eye of Kordill. Ultimately it’s jobs like these that buy them more food and fuel and get them to the next one.
Though each of the crew has different motivations, the team has been operating together for a few weeks now. The datapad confirms: this is the place. Danger, treasure, and credits await…
Star Wars: Gremmin’s Gambit is a Star Wars adventure for 4 players set during the time of the Empire just after the destruction of the first Death Star (somewhere around 1 ABY). Players will take on the roles of galactic fringers who live and operate mostly on the Outer Rim of the galaxy in order to evade Imperial concerns. Players take on dangerous jobs and risks typically to meet their obligations - be they debts, oaths, or favors owed.
This game borrows heavily from concepts in Fantasy Flight’s Star Wars: Edge of the Empire roleplaying system.
BUILD NOTES: When building a character, please select from the customized story cards provided. This will make it easier for the narrator to piece together a story based on what he’s working with. If you’d like to do any custom cards, please submit a description in the comments to the narrator section for approval.
BIO NOTES: Please include a sentence or two on how/why/what your character owes Gilgix the Hutt. Use your subplot card choice in determining this. Please include a sentence or two on how you joined the crew of the Salty Mynok, captained by Captain Gremmin. Also, race is not included in nature. Please indicate your race (droids are absolutely welcome!) in your bio.
