Learn the ways of the force as a recruit at the Jedi Academy. You will be recruited by the Jedi on your home world and join others under the tutelage of Jedi Master Ki-Adi-Mundi. Along the way, you will learn to craft a light saber, study Jedi lore, meet comrades and other Jedi. As the game progresses, a mystery will unfold, leading the recruits off world in search of an illusive Jedi Master, facing challenges and danger. This game is geared towards beginners and new players, but experienced patient players are also welcome. I, as the narrator, will play the parts of the Jedi Masters. While I want this to be fun, aka like a Star Wars play on Harry Potter, I also want this to be serious and dramatic in theme with the original movies. Humor and romance are an option, but I will concentrate on plausible scenarios with some complex outcomes being possible. There may be puzzles and obstacles along the way. I hope characters will be created in line with the races already existing in the animated series, both unique and accurate. The time will be within this period, before Anakin falls to the dark side.
I will be posting tips and links to resources during the game to help people out and may even create a google forum for offline discussion.
If you want to apply, please create a character with a full bio for my review so I can see your writing style and depth of character creation. There are a tons of resources online about Star Wars races and worlds so use that as a basis. Im hoping for a small and diverse group, no more than 5 players, both male and female, and each a different race. So if you see a Wookie already present, please pick another race.
