Once upon a time, there was a girl who lay in an empty field of dead grass. A very young girl with red hair, curly hair and beautiful emerald eyes. Her pale face dusted elegantly with brown freckles.
She laid on the ground, staring at the dull, grey sky. Not a cloud to be seen, nor the sun or moon. The grass was a dull brown and their were no trees or animals in sight. The girl rose from the ground, standing on her tiny bare feet. Her green dress dancing slowly as the wind blew gently against it.
She looked around, and frowned. She stepped forward, noticing that the grass around her turned green and flowers bloomed from the ground. Startled, she took a step back which caused the ground behind her to do the same. Shortly after, she began taking more steps. Turning the grass green, then soon after growing trees.
The ground below had color yet…Something was missing. She sat on the ground sad as she picked the petals off roses, sticking them together to make little shapes. When she did this, she noticed the petals merge together and began to move. The art she made became butterflies, dragon flies, bees and birds. She then went to get some clay that had been in the ground. She created many more shapes. Creating dogs and bears and cats and tigers and penguins and-
Humans.
People like her. She did it out of curiosity. As time went on she learned they had needs. She made fruit grow from trees. Water come from the sky. That water would turn to snow in areas much colder. Eventually clouds formed, and she created the sun after the humans discovered fire.
The years went on, the little girl grew older, and taller. And so did the people. Eventually the little girl fell in love with one of her people. Getting married then having seven, yes, seven beautiful children. She decided to give all her children a piece of her gift, which she called her Heart of Elements (or elemental heart for short).
She named her oldest daughter Nature, as that was her gift. Her next son Water, since that was his. Then she had fire, and then Earth, and then Light, and then Spirit, and the youngest, darkness.
As they all got older they accept their jobs as guardians of the planet Earth. They created the Council of Elements, a powerful group who will remain to be the leaders of the world for a long time.
Time continued to go on, the little girl, now known as Mother Nature lived with her children in some land above earth. (Some would say space). She decided that it would be best to allow the humans to live in peace on the ground, wiping the now called Elder Gods from their memories. However, they may no longer remember them, but they still believe in them. The elder gods allowed the humans to think of them as just legends, myths, gods which leaded a religion (Elementism), etc.
Once again time passed. The titan-like elder gods began getting tired of taking care of the planet alone. They decided it was time to start the next generation of Elder Gods. They each gave up a piece of their elemental heart, and dropped it down below for anyone to inherit.
Thousands of years later, their plan backfired. People were being born with these powers at every corner. Riots started because of this. Normal humans accusing them of witch craft, slaughtering them at every post, trying to get rid of them. This only caused a war between the two groups.
The gifted used their abilities to commit multiple genocides across the globe. The humans made giant weapons to wipe out large populations of the gifted. This only made the Elder gods angry. Causing them to bind their powers together, creating the greatest weapon of all time, and wiped out the entire planet.
Then started fresh.
This time however, before handing their powers out to their newly created humans, they built a safe haven for the gifted, scared another war would start. The gifted would live their, among the elder gods once they were old enough. They would learn how to control their powers, how to stay hidden, and learn how to become an Elder.
Years went on.
Multiple Generations of Elder Gods came to be.
The Academy grew rapidly, and so did the population of the gifted.
Now it was time to start a new generation of Elder Gods, however this time, it seems things are much different…It seems as if there may be, others? Elder gods who don’t plan on doing good…Could it be a possibility?
