As the world exists in its current state, it also exists in many others. The multiverse, the idea that for every possible outcome there is a world in which it occurs, and seeing as there are an infinite amount of outcomes, more and more worlds are created on every moment as reality splits off. The world exists in a superposition, occupying every possible universe at once, so it’s no surprise it needs caretakers. Groundskeepers, tidying up the messes caused by those who tired to disrupt the world as a whole. They are known as the Agency, an organization of the beings who didn’t belong in their respective worlds, those with special traits that made them different than the natives of their worlds. These are the cryptids, the aliens, the horrific monstrosities, the psychics, and the slightly weird neighbors. These are the Agents.
