Once the jewel of the North, the gateway between the resplendent empires of the East and the treacherous Stairs of Golat, Kartazsh is now riven with strife. Revolutionaries, mercenaries and opportunists run rampant through the broken streets while shadowy agents work their own agendas.
One woman seeks power while another clings to it. One woman preaches harmony while another seeks revenge. One woman seeks to reclaim a throne, while another dreams of a day when all thrones are trampled into dust.
