It was three years ago that the imperials attacked the citadel of Blackdale. Great big beasts made of wood, catapults and siege engines rumbling through the woods surrounding the Lithian stronghold. The purple and gold banners flew high and the soldiers’ boots shook the muddy ground.
But the citadel of Blackdale has never fallen. Lore has it that it’s protected not only by a valliant guard and thick sturdy stone walls, but also by a powerful mage guild, the yellowcloaks, defending the citadel with unpenetrable magical shields.
Three years have passed since the battle began and no one knows how it ended. The night that the Imperial army attacked the Lithian stronghold a thick white fog covered the entire woods surrounding the area. No one has managed to enter the fog and return alive since. The fate of the people of Blackdale and their assailants has remained a mystery.
Until now. After the war was concluded with the peace treaty of Orience, the new Lithian king has issued a reward of 10,000 Lithian crowns for the team of adventurers who can solve the mystery of the fog of Blackdale.

10 things you need to know about this game
There’s only one mission to be played, concluded when the mystery is solved.
There are certain answers to the questions posed by the story which need to be found, but there are many different ways to find them.
This is a typical D&D setting. It’s not forgotten realms but it might as well be.
The game is set in the country of Lithia, some weeks after the war between Lithia and Imperia ended. The characters in the game or all Lithians. The rest of the details you’re free to fill out for yourselves.
This is a DnD enviroment, but it’s not a typical DnD game. There’s a lot more investigating and interracting than fighting.
The characters you’ll make are going to be Lithian adventurers. They’re a group that know each other and have been adventuring together before the story starts so it’ll be fun to add bits and pieces of your common history together as the story progresses!
I have played this game as a DM, but this is my first time narrating on storium, so be gentle!
I will choose characters that are interesting and well written. You are free to do whatever you wish with your cards. Be creative (within the fantasy setting)!
There will be times that even if you conclude a challenge the outcome will have to be provided by the narrator. (eg. you succeed in stealing a letter but I will have to provide its’ contents)
I need players to have a bit of time in their hands. I’d like this game to continue on a daily basis. I will pick 4 players but will move the story forward as much as possible, so do try to play at least once a day.
That’s all! I hope we make a great story together!
