It is the year 2079.
The law against human cloning was finally abolished in the year 2054, when big corporations realised the potential for human part replacements over creating a cure for the super drug-resistant infections spreading across the population. China had insinuated particular interest in the cloning initiative, gathering funds together to form the first HCC (Human Cloning Corporation) named “Kèlóng Facilities” before anyone else.
The initial testing phase brought many questions to the table. Why did the clones seem to feel a strong bond towards their counterparts? And why is it that they seem to have picked up abilities from their counterparts that they hadn’t previously been taught?
It’s like you’ve lived through it before and now you’re going through it all over again. You seem to be dreaming up in your sleep snippets of your counterpart’s life, even bits near the end, without ever even meeting them in person.
As a clone, you are entitled to very little personal freedoms. There’s the food hall, a long wide chamber where everyone is fed to a strict diet. The work centre where everyone is put to use mining, gathering or any of the other minority jobs. The sleeping quarters is where everyone sleeps, mostly bunk-beds and shared dorms unless a clone is particularly good and they get upgraded. There’s also the science chamber, which is used for testing the clones’ skills and interviewing them personally to see if they have any issues or concerns.
As you begin to reach adolescence, they are running more tests on you than ever before. It’s like they are scared of the clones, that they are not all that they seem to be. Now would be a good time to break from these restraints and figure everything out.
Inspired by The Island, an amazing film (seriously, go watch it if you haven’t already).
I’m looking for 4-6 players.
Please send me a message if you have any questions, thanks!
