Twenty years ago, her cousin Haelaek brought forth an army of demons and darkness and took the throne for himself. Chief among his weapons of war was the Lichwyrm - a malevolent draconic sorcerer - brought back to bitter, undead existence in service to Haelaek
Two days ago, a mysterious traveler with a black wagon rolled into the village of Trevale. Where he was going, or what was in his wagon, he would not say. Only that he was waiting for someone.
Last night, he got into an argument with the town drunk and ended up stabbed for his troubles. His last words begged someone, anyone, to meet with Taenvor and get the wagon to the old temple at Ailios.
This morning, the dragon’s egg he had been hiding in the back of the wagon hatched.
The Last Dragon Heir is a simple high fantasy tale of several townsfolk finding themselves in the midst of an adventure that will not only change their lives, but quite possibly rescue their kingdom from the reign of the usurper Haelaek and place a legitimately elected ruler on the throne of Sydekat.
