Equal part Nick Cave ballad, Deadwood, Deadlands and Pretty Deadly with a splash of spaghetti western, this is the Long Dead West. Here myth meets mankind on a dusty, empty plain, surrounded by buried gold and cutthroat bandits. Legends tell of undertakers rising from graves to resume their duties to the dead and of great and powerful Native shamans summoning spirits and warriors to wreck havoc on the land taken from them by white hands stained with blood.
Will you be one of those seeking their fortune in this desolate land or maybe seeking to escape from your past in a bottle or a dusty city where no one knows your name. Maybe you’re just here for the lawlessness or to bring order to this shantytown. Perhaps you’ve heard the tales of the gold and whores that lie within these mountains or seek to separate so many fools from their hard-earned (or ill-gotten) goods. Are you one of the vengeful dead, back for what was taken from you? Are you one of the Natives trying to make it in this world that has stripped so much from you? Whatever you’re here for, there’s no turning back now. The hot desert wind whips you with dust as you ride or walk into town. What happens next is up to you.
