After retiring from her unfinished career as a professional volleyball player due to an unrecoverable injury, Alana Jackson had migrated to the quaint suburban neighborhoods of the small town, Prairiehill - situated in the southernmost part of Louisiana - where she found a decent job as an English teacher for the local high school. With her lingering love for volleyball still resolutely intact, she sought out to create the school’s first-ever girl’s volleyball team upon hearing the shocking discovery that the school had never decided to make one.
You are apart of this rambunctious, rag-tag, and seemingly disorganized team of girls - all sharing the rather ambitious goal to make it to nationals. But as aforementioned: these are teenage girls and the oncoming whirlwind of drama looming intimidatingly over the team, is inevitable to strike down at some point.
