Deep in the heart of the ancient jungle, an ancient people reside. They have been there as long as anyone can tell, and live their lives the same as they have for hundreds if not thousands of years. In their world, everything is connected and everything has a meaning. All of these connections are made in the spirit world, unseen to normal people. If someone is sick, or is injured or simply having a bad day, they believe they have been cursed by the spirit world.
There are a few, however, that can see and even step into this world. Shamans have been trained for hundreds of years in the ancient rituals and medicines of their ancestors. In this jungle society the shamans have learned to monetize their practices in order to pay for the expensive sacraments and medicines. Families in every village enlist shamans help, paying to cure, or to curse.
Word of ancient brews and healing ceremonies has spread all over the world with the help of the Internet, and you feel drawn to discover more about this ancient people.
