In the beginning, Celestia, the Great Dragon of the Stars, mated with the dragon of Void to produce her twelve dragon children, the Constellation Dragons. Together they created a land called Celestina and each of the Twelve had a land of there own to mold and rule. They had many children and each created races of beings to aid and worship them. Meanwhile, Celestia and Void built a beautiful capital city to rule together.
But Void became jealous of the lands and peoples of the Twelve and he turned everyone against each other, hoping to gain power through war. Eventually, with the help of most of her children, Celestia stopped the war and banished Void to a cold island in the far north. Her Twelve children were placed in the sky to watch over him and peace was restored, leaving the dragons and other races to forger their destinies together.
To help ensure the peace continued, Celestia established the Order of the Bond. Every year each province sends two non-dragon citizens who they believe exemplify the virtue they prize most. These Potentials must bond one of the dragons that hatch from the eggs the Order keeps, one from each province, every year. Members of the Order use the unique bonds and skills to keep order and settle disputes.
Every 50 years, the Bonding Ceremony is even more special than usual for Celestia herself lays an egg and gives it to the Order. Bonding the Celestial Dragon is one of the highest honors a citizen can receive. This year is one of those years, but three days before the Bonding Ceremony was to start, the Celestial Egg was stolen from the vault!
Your team, diverse of race and talents, and already somewhat established in their career of choice, have been hired by the Order and the Star Palace to find the egg and get it back.
Characters are open to nearly any fantasy race and/or profession, and new ideas are welcome. More detailed information can now be (new and improved!) found in a googke docs folder.

Currently we need a couple more characters as we’ve lost a few folks. Based on our current location, human, elf, centaur, kitsune, unicorn, dryad or naiad would be the most likely races and I would prefer nonhumans, for diversity’s sake. Out of the pre-created templates, we need a Temple Priest, and possibly another Knight of the Bond, as it would be nice to have a dragon in the party. In fact, a player could also play a young unBonded dragon as well. Otherwise, we super need magic users as both of our have gone.
