Sir Albert Grimheld passed away a little over a year ago, leaving a bereft young widow the sole benefactor of his substantial will and mistress of Grimheld Lodge. Despite the fact that their marriage was arranged and they never successfully conceived a child, Elizabeth Grimheld seems legitimately sorry for the loss of her husband, which has perhaps contributed to her reluctance to reopen Grimheld Lodge to visitors. You are fortunate to have received one of the somewhat exclusive invitations, therefore, to a foxhunt hosted on the grounds of Grimheld. With Elizabeth’s year of mourning over, suitors are lining up (sometimes literally) and romance is in the air.
