In the distant future, humanity has spread throughout a number of systems, linked together by distance-spanning Solar Bridges in a far-reaching Union of Suns.
Separated by the disabling of one such gate, a single system, left to its own devices for over a decade, teems with activity in the wake of its slow and solitary decline. At its cultural center, a single planet, littered with megalithic city centers, sparse outposts, and unsavory hideaways.
Where do two nomads wandering the overland fit in amongst city patriarchs, old-post sheriffs, ambitious criminals, and rebellious undergrounds?
