In the 22nd century, humanity has suffered tremendously from super-viruses and pollution. Following an awful chain of events and a surplus of extinction following a major ice age, the Russian government has revealed a spinning lifeboat for humanity. The vessel LifeboatX is launched and a total of 14,000 people are given passes.
“The people left behind are likely to perish,” the captain announces, “but we will remember our ancestors fondly.”
The utopia they head towards is a planet called Euphoria, a green, pink, blue planet situated on the far side of their galaxy wing.
E.T.A: 49 years, 6 days, 7 hours.
A crew has been established onboard, perhaps it’s the only reason they’ve earnt the privilege to be onboard. Skillsets can range from mechanics to engines to piloting. The people onboard are put into cryogenic sleep, while food supply is limited for the staff onboard with extras for the planet descent. The water is recycled, so the ship is a close-ended system.
The crew is not expected to remain awake the entire 49 year duration, but an artificial intelligence will wake them in times of trouble. This A.I. is simply known as “Computer”.
