Only the bold will thrive on these planets that Earth government and corporations have decided to colonize. And you have chosen Risus 4 as your new home, the 8th planet in the Janis system. What an incredible opportunity!

Who knows why you decided to leave Earth. But now that you’re here, you’ve got a whole new life to build. In the usual colonization process of planets, there would be thousands in a single ship adding to the population of each planet. But you’re different. You’re the test group. On planets like Risus 4 which are new to the process, they start with a small group and go from there. 250 pilgrims and half as many crew are placed on-world to start up the first official settlement.
That means when you land, there will be only a few buildings and amenities. You’ll have to carve out your own land and create your own possessions. You’ll start with an economic stipend based on how much you invested in your ticket sixty years ago, but most of you will be relying on your skills and know-how.
Because you’re the first official group of colonists, there are bound to be dangers the corporation haven’t come across yet. From extreme climates to deadly diseases to vicious flora and fauna. But you’ll get through it. Just be careful. We’re all on the same side here, so work together.
Also, even amid the dangers and hard work here, don’t forget to fall in love and pursue happiness in all of your new life’s pursuits.
UPDATE:
This game has begun and we’re opening up to new applicants. You’ll begin on Day 2 on Risus, as colonists or crew like the others. Overall you can assume your stay has been normal so far. Maybe begin with an intro post to bring up to speed.
