1992: a fatal car crash puts a sudden and premature end to the life of Hollywood superstar John Clark at the age of 63. Born Michał Kamiński, the eldest son in a Polish family settled down in rural Iowa, he was discovered by a movie agent while he landed a gig as an extra in a local production. He was barely eighteen at the time but “one could already tell that he was a diamond in the rough, a contemporary Rudolph Valentino in the making” or so the rags claimed back then.
As soon as he set foot in Hollywood, it was love at first sight: everybody loved him and wanted him, young and beautiful. Studio execs would fawn over him and secure him wealth and fame and he paid them back with smash hits at the box office: he was the studio’s favorite, the golden goose of the industry.
Dubbed “Hotshot” for his signature confidence and acting mastery, he soon became a legend of the silver screen despite being blatantly snubbed by the Academy that only handed him a long-awaited Oscar in 1985 for Best Actor in The Boxer.
Through the decades he collected affairs and weddings, putting together what he called his ”amazing, odd family scattered around the world” that had always made his life ”worth living”, as he declared in several interviews.
You play as one of his sons/ daughters gathering to say their last goodbye to your superstar dad the world fell hard for.
What secrets will you uncover about your famous parent? And most importantly…will the odd family manage to protect them or will it be torn apart by the heavily guarded pages of John Clark’s life?
